Taaffe Forestry Services has been in business for over 23 years developing plans for hundreds of landowners. Company owner, Ken Taaffe, has over 35 years of experience in forestry and natural resource conservation, both domestically and internationally. He is a Natural Resource Conservation Service registered Technical Service Provider. As such, he can assist landowners receiving NRCS forestry funds.
Ken's passion to improve and enhance forests began in his scouting days, during which he achieved Scouting's highest award, an Eagle Scout. It continued at Duke University where he pursued degrees in Botany and Forestry. This led to a two and a half year assignment in Paraguay, South America as a Peace Corps volunteer where he became fluent in Spanish. Along with Ken's love of forestry and the outdoors, he is an avid bicyclist and enjoys puttering in his garden. He enjoys travel and has traveled to a number of places in the USA, plus countries in Europe, South America, and Central America.
